FIBERDECK distributes
fiberon® decking
exclusively. fiberon® has been installed in thousands of homes, in every climate, and in a variety of applications across the US and Europe.
• Solid profile
A solid profile is high-quality product. It is the major characteristic that makes fiberon® decking different from other competitors.
It minimizes the surface contact with water and humidity that can occur in hollow profiles. Solid profiles also allow better use of the
standard cutting tools of natural wood.
• Weather resistance
fiberon® decking won't splinter, cup, crack or decay from constant exposure to the elements. It is not affected by wood boring insects,
resists salty or chlorified swimming pool water and will retain its surface embossing throughout the harshest weather. When compared to other
composite or vinyl deck materials, fiberon® decking outperforms them in a combination of strength, beauty and durability. fiberon®
boards meet all the requirements of decking installation in humid areas (marinas, etc.).
• The right blend & the right ingredients
fiberon® composite decking is made with 50% HDPE and 50% wood floor. HDPE provides superior physical and mechanical performance. Maple
provides superior workability and dimensional stability. Maple contains less tannin and minimal lignin, reducing extractive bleeding stains.
The high percentage of Polyethylene limits the dimensional variations of the wood. It is more expensive than wood, but offers a higher
quality material.
• Low maintenance
fiberon® decking is easy to maintain. Dirt and grime wash off easily with common cleaners (washing powder) and a garden hose to keep your
outdoor living clean and easy. The material dries easily under the sun, faster than natural wood. However, please note that grease and oil
will stain all kinds of composite decking. Should grease or oil stain the deck's surface, it is important to clean the stain immediately
• Saves money
fiberon® is easy to install. Fewer fasteners mean less labor and less labor means lower costs. No end waxing or sealing saves money and
many hours of time.
• Environmental concerns
fiberon® use 100% recycled domestic wood by-product (maple) recovered from flooring and furniture manufacturers and some recycled
plastic, instead of harvesting trees from endangered rainforests. fiberon® does not require toxic preservatives to prevent rotting,
splitting or turning gray. It is naturally resistant to all species of wood eating insects like termites.
• Variety of applications
fiberon® boards have been installed in all kinds of climates and experienced many different weathering variationse. fiberon® boards
are the right alternative for marinas projects, swimming pool projects, etc.
